Policies, Shipping Info

At American Pet Pro we are always pleased to serve you.  Your orders will be shipped the day we receive them whenever possible. We are happy to answer your questions and help you to decide which products are right for you, just call 1-800-543-9480 between 8:30am & 5:00pm Monday through Friday (PST) or Email us anytime!

You are welcome to place your order on this  Secure Site 24 hours a day.  We have taken all necessary measures to protect your credit card information by using  SSL (Secure Socket Layer) technology.
If you prefer not to give your credit card info over the internet, we will be happy to take your order by phone, fax or regular mail.

Not only do we protect your Credit Card info but we also protect you from annoying sales calls and junk mail.  We don't sell our customer lists to anyone.

 

There is no minimum order but we do charge a processing fee of $5.00 for orders under $50.00 before applicable sales tax, shipping charges or service charges are added.

C.O.D. SHIPPING will be charged a $9.00 fee for payment pickup.  This is charged by UPS for all C.O.D. deliveries. Only established customers will be eligible for C.O.D. shipments. 

 

Free Shipping!

Shipping is Free to your  business address with an order of $200.00 or more to California, Nevada, Oregon or Washington*  For all other states within the continental United States, we will pay half the shipping costs to your business address on orders of $275.00 and for orders of $550.00 or more,  your Business Address shipping is FREE!*

*Free shipping does not include items marked F.O.B., items drop shipped directly from the manufacturer, (i.e.: Crates, Cages, Dryers, Tables, Tubs, etc.) UPS Oversize items or special handling, Residential addresses or Zip Code Premium Addresses)

 

Actual freight charges will apply to orders less than the minimum for free or reduced freight in your area.

FIRST TIME CUSTOMERS: you will receive a courtesy approval notice via email with your total including any applicable shipping and service charges for your order and will be given until Noon of the following business day to approve, cancel or change your order.  If you do not respond to your courtesy email, your order will be shipped that afternoon exactly as it was ordered. Your invoice is always included with your order.

RETURNING CUSTOMERS:  Your orders will be shipped immediately without the courtesy approval notice to avoid delay, since you are aware your order will be charged the appropriate shipping and services fees and your invoice will be included in your order.

 Air Freight and Saturday Delivery are available at extra cost

We Ship only to US addresses

We are able to ship your international order to the US address of your friend, family member or business contact who will be responsible to forward your order to you themselves.

Shipping Carriers

Although the online order form says UPS, we reserve the right to chose a carrier based on the best results we have found to your area.  We may ship UPS, FEDX or any other carrier depending on service and reliability.

IMPORTANT: Aerosols and Alcohol based products are considered to be flammable or explosive and are NOT ALLOWED to be shipped by Air.  You Must choose regular ground shipping for these items.

 

How To Pay For Your Order

We gladly accept Visa, MasterCard and American Express.

 

Return Policy

If you are not 100% happy with any unused item, we offer a 30 day credit, exchange or refund.

Returned items  must be in new, saleable condition unless it is defective.

Be sure returned items are in their original boxes and packaged properly to prevent damage while shipping.

Shipping fees are not refundable (unless you received this item in error)

SOME ITEMS, INCLUDING ANY ITEMS DROP SHIPPED FROM THE MANUFACTURER OR DELIVERED BY MOTOR FREIGHT MUST BE RETURNED DIRECTLY TO THE MANUFACTURER WHO SHIPPED THE ITEMS. 

Manufacturer's Warranties

Please keep all warranties and owner's manuals that come with your merchandise.  If an item becomes defective, please refer to your warranty information for proper procedures.

 

Backorders

We do our very best to keep the items you need in stock.  If your item is not in stock when you order, it becomes a "Backorder".  We will ship any backorders over $50.00 just as soon as the merchandise arrives in our warehouse.

For backorders under $50.00, we ask you to re-order the items you need when you place your next order

 

What to do if your order arrives damaged
Save all original boxes and packaging materials for inspection by the carrier if required and notify the carrier immediately.

Call us (American Pet Pro 1-800-543-9480) for instructions and replacement of the damaged items.
